About the Author
Nathan Laxague, born in San Diego, California, is a fifteen-year-old who lives with his family in Maine. When he's not writing preposterous poems, he enjoys reading skiing, playing tennis, and getting together with friends.
Seventy-five percent of the author's profits from this book will go directly to help those with cancer, the environment and endangered animals.
Of that 75%:
20% will go to Tomorrow's Children Fund, dedicated to children with cancer and blood disorders
20% will go to the Cancer Community Center in Maine, which offers free programs, support, and networking
15% will go to Kids Against Toxins, a group of thirteen-to-twenty-year olds dedicated to helping those with cancer, the environment, and endangered animals
10% will go toward purchasing educational materials from the Environmental Health Management Institute for schools nationwide
10% will go toward the preservation of rainforests and endangered animals
