TWO EYES APPEARED, barely visible in the darkness of the drainpipe. When the face broke into light, it wasn't a rabbit, but the pointed nose of a skunk. Bub had his stick started in a swing before he realized what he was about to hit. He let the stick go spinning into midair. The skunk came shuffling out of that drainpipe fairly unconcerned. Unfortunately for us all, both dogs dived into the poor skunk.
