Book Description
In 1980, Max Vidrine, a college freshman living on the LSU campus, becomes overwhelmed with the adversity that seems to jump in his path. Sleepless nights and improbable events make each episode an anecdote all its own. These events, that seemingly knock Max off the road to success, are mostly frustrating. Yet, Max and his roommate are able to find humor in nearly all that happens. The lessons learned are subtle, yet entirely necessary for Max to become a well-rounded adult. These lessons are not taught by the professors in the hallowed halls, but by the experiences of feeling alone, living without means, and struggling to find a purpose to the chaos that sometimes engulfs a college student.
