About the Author
Penny Gentieu is a professional photographer who has specialized in photographing babies and children for the past 15 years. Her photographs are exhibited and published worldwide; they have appeared on more than 150 magazine covers including Life, Time, Newsweek, Baby Talk, American Baby, Parents, and New York. Three books feature her photographs: Baby! Talk!, Wow! Babies, and 97 Ways to Make a Baby Laugh. Her husband, Tom Friemoth, penned the babies' dialogue. Tom and Penny live in New York City.
