Ferdinand is one year old, eight to ten years old for a human. He has received word from his friend Karl that there is a half-ful bottle of yummy, creamy, cat's delight (mayonnaise) by Farmer George's garbage wagon. Ferdinand knows he is too old to try to get any of the mayonnaise out of the bottle, he could get his head stuck. But his curiosity and cravings on top of peer pressure from Karl lure him to the spot anyway. He is successful in resisting temptaion until he becomes jealous because Snowball, who Ferdinand lunges into the bottle to get some of the yummy, creamy cat's delight for Snowball and of course he gets his head stuck. But poor Ferdinand has more problems than just a bottle stuck on his head, there is Butch the cat killer and Dizzy, a gigantic cat bully that belongs to two cruel kids named Sally and Chucky.
About the Author
Marv works his day job in an elementary school as a custodian. He loves to make things clean and smell good in the school which is quite a difficult task some days. But most of all he loves his association with his young friends. He enjoys teaching them to whislte through their hands and helping them figure out how to rotate their fingers in opposite directions. Marv would feel much older if it weren't for his young friends; he always says "They keep me smiling."
Marv lives in his home town of Kanosh, Utah with his soul-mate, Star. Their four children are raised and live away from home, but Marv and Star stay busy with their neighborhood grandkids and their fantastic yard that was made just for children.
