Bollywood is the national cinema of India. This invaluable introduction to the best of the genre discusses the work of key directors, major stars, music directors, and screenplay writers. About the Author
Rachel Dwyer is Reader in Indian Studies and Cinema, SOAS, University of London. She has published several books, including Yash Chopra (BFI, 2002), about one of the greats of the Hindi film industry, with whom she worked for several years.
