About the Author
Helene Hovanec, a major player in the puzzle world, organized the first World Puzzle Championship in 1992. She is a former elementary school teacher with a master’s degree in early childhood education and the author of numerous puzzle books for children. She lives in New York City. Patrick Merrell is an illustrator, graphic designer, and puzzle maker with many years of experience creating fun, colorful books for kids. He lives in Mt. Vernon, New York.
