About the Author
Bill Hayes started as a singer on radio and was an original regular on Your Show of Shows, the pioneering TV variety show. He was in numerous Broadway productions and had a #1 record with The Ballad of Davy Crockett. He has played the role of Doug on Days of our Lives since 1970.

Susan Seaforth Hayes was a child actor who starred in numerous television shows and plays. She has played the role of Julie on Days of Our Lives since 1968.
