About the Author
Jacquie Jordanis career skyrocketed at a very early age. By the age of 24, she sold her first television program - a news format - by knocking on the doors of New Jersey cable stations. To date, she has already produced for some of the hottest personalities in television, including Bob Saget, Montel Williams, Donny & Marie Osmond, Maury Povich, Geraldo Rivera, and Cybill Shepherd. Jacquie has been involved in booking, supervising or producing as many as 10,000+ television guests. She recently completed developing and producing two more pilots for the Buena Vista 2004 syndication year. Currently, she is the Co-Executive Producer for AMCis new show Sunday Morning Shootout hosted by Hollywood Icons - Chairman of Mandalay Entertainment Group, Peter Guber, and the Editor-in-Chief of Variety, Peter Bart. Celebrity guests have included Kevin Costner, Edward Norton, Danny DeVito, Charlize Theron, Clint Eastwood, Andy Garcia, Samuel L. Jackson, Sherry Lansing, Laura Linney, Robert Downey Jr., Peter Jackson, Sylvester Stallone, Cuba Gooding Jr., Sir Anthony Hopkins, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Dustin Hoffman. In 1999-2000, known for her ability to find the heart of any story, Jacquie Jordan garnered her second daytime Emmy nomination for Best Show. Additionally, she started her own boutique production company and media consulting firm under the banner of her name, Jacquie Jordan, Inc. Her primary mission is to educate, enlighten, and entertain with the highest level of integrity. In addition to Jacquieis continuous production schedule, she works with a committed group of new and exciting talent on their branding, promotion, marketing, producing and development, as well as their on-camera skills. Other credits include a full season at The Donny & Marie Show, Maury, Geraldo, The Montel Williams Show, a game show for the Animal Planet, a relationship program for USA Network, a hidden camera pilot for ABC Primetime, a rock biography for MTV, and the successful support and launch of other illustrious talent careers. Jacquie launched the nationally syndicated talk show Talk or Walk hosted for Tribune Entertainment, and has worked for Twentieth Television, Telepictures, and Sony. Several shows have recently sold based on Jacquieis creative input in visual presentation and writing. Prior to that, she worked on a variety of news and topical television formats on both coasts, in New York City and Los Angeles. Jacquie is a successful national Seminar Leader and Trainer. Her innovative and informative seminars to corporations on Getting Your Idea, Product, or Story on TV; Be Your Own Publicist & Think Like A Producer; Pitch the Producers and Pitch Your Project, have been recognized by the industry. Jacquie began her career in radio as a local disc jockey, then news reporter. After taking to the airwaves, she went on to become an on-air reporter for the local station WMBC-TV in the NY ADI market and hosted several public affairs programs. Her voice has been heard on many radio commercials including Dunkini Donuts and Ace Hardware. Jacquie is a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in theater. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
