About the Author
James A. Brown is an Associate Professor of Telecommunication and Film at the University of Alabama. He has written numerous articles, chaired broadcasting departments at three schools, worked with networks, stations, and production companies, and has wide consulting experience. Ward L. Quaal is the president of the Ward L. Quaal Co. and retired president of WGN Continental Broadcasting Co. Mr. Quaal has over 40 years of broadcast experience and has won numerous broadcasting awards.
